Paul Salvini, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Canadian Operations, Side Effects Software

Paul Salvini is Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Canadian Operations at Side Effects Software- – a global leader in the development of 3D visual effects software for the film industry. Dr. Salvini also conducts research and teaches in the area of computer simulation as an Adjunct Professor of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Toronto. In 2008, he was recognized as one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40™. Dr. Salvini serves on the University of Waterloo's Alumni Council and the Consortium on New Media, Creative, and Entertainment R&D in the Toronto Region. Dr. Salvini holds an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics (BMath) degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, Master of Applied Science (MASc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Engineering from the University of Toronto, and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Rotman School of Management. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two children.
