Jay Klein, Founder and President, Bonus Gum Company
Jay Klein is Founder and President of the Bonus Gum Company, an international company with offices in New York and Toronto. Over the course of the last year, 28 year old Klein has successfully introduced the Bonus Gum brand into the North American marketplace. The brand was developed on the idea that chewing gum should offer consumers added benefits. Each flavor in Bonus gum's Function line offers an added 'Bonus', thus creating the brand's tagline: "Get More From Your Gum". Entrepreneurial at a young age, he started a small business in elementary school, selling Blow Pops and Airheads from his school bag. Many years later, his enthusiasm for sales and love of the candy industry lead him to develop his own candy business.
At the age of 21 while completing his undergraduate degree, Klein started Drivertise International, a marketing firm that specializes in digital print and creative concept development, servicing clients that include the Canadian Football League, Loblaws, and Magna International. Drivertise International is now in its 8th year and continues to grow.
With a strong commitment to philanthropy and community involvement, Jay currently sits on the Board of Directors of Mt. Sinai Hospital. He is a member of the POGO Leadership connection, dedicated to ensuring that Ontario's children with cancer receive the best treatment available. Jay is also actively involved in the UJA Federation and is a member of the Ben Gurion Society. Born in Syracuse, New York and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, Jay moved to Toronto and graduated with Honors from York University in 2002.
