The Technological Entrepreneur of the Year is one who initiates change and development with creative thinking. This entrepreneur chooses to use technology as the foundation of their business and has extensive knowledge of its capabilities and limitations. With technological advances being made every day, he or she recognizes the need to utilize technology in order to flourish in our modern world. Our future is going to be rooted in technology and this entrepreneur is doing his part in contributing towards our long-term goals.
Criteria
All award applicants will be judged on the following criteria:
- Has created an innovative new technology or builds on and leverages existing technologies to help his business succeed.
- Helps open the door for further technological advancements through his research and work.
- Looks to make the world function more efficiently and has made a positive influence on his community.
- Tries to make people's lives easier through pioneering developments.
